Charming Family-Run Guesthouse in True Lapland

Hotel Hetan Majatalo is a family-run hotel & guesthouse in northern Lapland, Enontekiö. It's the oldest family company in tourism, in Lapland, run by the same family - now by the 4th generation. The cosy and idyllic atmosphere and the kind and competent service by the host family will make your stay truly unique and personal. Hetan Majatalo has spacious hotel rooms but also charming old-fashioned rooms, which have been preserved in the spirit of old time. Shared toilets are in the corridor, and showers and saunas are in our main building. The rooms have a retro atmosphere and if the walls could speak they would have many stories to tell since the early 1950s. The guesthouse rooms are bookable from June to September. Saunas are warm in the evenings and our buffet is famous for its traditional delicacies. Hotel is situated right in the centre of the village of Hetta / Enontekiö but at the same the wilderness starts right behind the hotel. For free / for rent we have a traditional Lapp hut, kick-sledges, toboggans, village bikes, snow shoes, cross-country skis, wooden-heated sauna...
