Från 10 €

Beautifully located by the sea on the western side of Helsinki, only 7 km from the centre, the Didrichsen Art Museum is easily accessible from town.

With its diversely-themed exhibitions, modern Finnish architecture and international ambience, it has fascinated visitors from all over the world for decades.

Founded in 1965 by Danish businessman Gunnar Didrichsen and his Finnish-Swedish wife Marie-Louise, the museum today holds a thousand works of art ranging from Finnish and international gems to artefacts from ancient cultures.

The Didrichsen Art Museum arranges three changing exhibitions each year with varying themes, often linked to the museum collections.

The museum is a place for the mind and soul to rest. In the words of the founders:

"We hope the museum will remain the home of everything beautiful: art, architecture and nature and that it will give others as much joy as it has given us.”
