Snowshoeing on the Arctic Circle

Join us to cross the Arctic Circle! Transportation from Sallatunturi included.

The Arctic Circle passes through the village of Hautajärvi, about half an hour away from Sallatunturi. Take a trip with us to the official crossing point of the Arctic Circle.

Our snowshoeing excursion includes a 1,5 -hour long guided snowshoe hike in the winter landscapes of the Koutajoki river and a hot drink by a campfire. Lunch is served at Napapiiri Café and an Arctic Circle crosser certificate is included too!
