Daytime Reindeer Safari

Leave the hassle of the busy town behind and join us on a tour to the wintry countryside of Rovaniemi. To reach our destination we will head about 20 kilometers south of Rovaniemi, to a hill called Porovaara, located by river Kemijoki - a place where you can truly enjoy the silence and the pure nature of Lapland. After arriving to Porovaara we will hop on the traditional sleighs pulled by our charming reindeer. On a relaxing 3-kilometer-long reindeer sleigh ride we wander through the snowy wilderness and admire the beautiful landscapes all around us. The reindeer hides in each sleigh ensure that you will stay warm throughout the sleigh ride. After the tour we will warm up and enjoy some snacks and hot juice by the open fire while enjoying the Lappish atmosphere all around us. To complete the tour we will visit a nearby reindeer fence and surprise the reindeer with some lichen - one of their favorite treats!
