Teijo National Park, located on the Southwestern Finnish coast, is a great outdoor destination! There are tens of kilometers of biking and hiking routes and waterways for paddling and rowing! We provide you with outdoor rental gear: kayaks, SUP boards, rowing boats and Fatbikes.

Rent a kayak in Teijo

We offer a multitude of kayaks at Teijo Nature Center, which is located on the Matildanjärvi lakeshore. This lake is substantially large and usually calm. We have single and double kayaks for rent as well as touring kayaks for longer trips.

SUP in Teijo

SUP is a fun summer sports! SUP stands for ”Stand up paddling” – you stand or crouch on a wide board and paddle on with a calm pace. This sport is suitable for all, regardless of age and physical prowess.

Rental canoes in Teijo

The traditional open canoe is a prestigious water vessel. Our rental open canoes can carry three adults or two adults and two minors, and their equipment, so with an open canoe you can embark on a family paddling trip. Lake Matildanjärvi is a great paddling destination. Go ashore and have a picnic, or bring your tent and head on an overnight trip with our rental open canoe.

Rental rowing boats in Teijo

Rent a rowing boat and head on the lake for a soothing rowing session under the northern sun. Our rowing boats can carry 3–4 persons. Lake Matildanjärvi is also a famous fishing destination, where rainbow trout is regularly introduced. Get your fishing permit from Natura Viva, rent a rowing boat and try your fishing fortunes.

Rent a Fatbike in Teijo

Teijo National Park features tens of kilometers of biking routes, and you can also head towards the seashore, where three villages with their services and sights await you. Fatbikes feature extra-wide tires, and thus it is easy to pedal on uneven terrain in the forest. Our Fatbike rental at Teijo Nature Center operates year around, on a self-service basis.
