Winter fishing in traditional Finnish way

Come to enjoy a traditional winter fishing trip at lake Kitka! The snowmobile sled will take us to the best fishing spots. We will check the fishing nets with an experienced local fisherman who will be guiding us the entire trip. After checking the nets we’ll head for the secret perch fishing sites and find out who will catch the biggest perch by jigging.

Next stop of our trip will be the Ruumissaari island where a tasty meal is prepared from the day’s catch at the fisherman’s cottage. After the meal we’ll have a nice cup of coffee and hear stories of nature and local lifestyle.
