Cultural Centre Vanha Paukku

Cultural Centre Vanha Paukku in an art and culture center located in Lapua, Western Finland. Cultural Centre Vanha Paukku is unique both by its surroundings as well by its history.

The center is located next to the Lapuanjoki-river, and it is developed from old factory buildings. The area has now several galleries and museums, the town library, shops and offices as well as a cafeteria, a movie theatre, the Music Institute, the Adult Education Centre and the Lyijylanka – creative community. All functioning within the premises. During the summer, there is also a river boat that takes its passengers on a cruise through the history and the surroundings of the area. The cultural center is established in 1997.
