Hietasalo is an island in the clear waters of Lake Kuohijärvi. You can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature without the crowds, as there are four fireplaces on the island. The nature on the island is charming and varied - forests, large rocks and an interesting bog with duckboards inside the island. The 30 m high cliff ridge overlooks a beautiful view of the lake.

During summer you can reach Hietasalo by canoe or a boat. In winter, when the ice is thick enough, the island can be accessed by ice.
