The ritual starts with a song to greet the "löyly" – the steam released from pouring water on the hot stones. After this, your sauna guide will introduce an abundance of soft whisks from local forests. Bundled twigs of birch and maple are used to apply a soft phyto-thermo massage and direct the löyly. Pine and juniper are used for scents. The atmosphere is grounded, serene, and authentic.
