Welcome to our local Traditional Workshops in Rovaniemi, where you'll learn hands-on skills rooted in Finnish heritage. Each workshop includes guided activities, a tour of the historic Saariniemi Estate, a delicious lunch or dinner with dessert and coffee or tea, and a relaxing lakeside sauna session.

Needle felting: Create a beautiful and meaningful keepsake using wool from our very own sheep. You'll learn the basics of felting – from wool washing and carding to shaping your unique creation.

Traditional baking - Kampanisu: Roll up your sleeves and bake kampanisus, classic Finnish pastries, using Grandma Betty's secret recipe. After baking, enjoy the fresh results with a warm drink.

Living history - Mysteries of the past: Step into the past and explore rural Finnish life through the stories, tree rings, and objects of the Saariniemi Estate. Discover the quiet mysteries of the past that still echo in the present.
