The Vesaniemi sauna is located at the Vesaniemi beach on the shore of Lake Vesijärvi, right in the center of Kangasala. The sauna can be rented for private use year-round. There are two saunas available for rent, as well as a separate fireplace room and a small kitchen. Rentals are managed by the City of Kangasala.

Vesaniemi also serves as the winter swimming location for the Kangasala Swimming Club and swimming club Kangasalan Kuohu. Public winter swimming sauna sessions are organized between September and May. In the summer, the public summer sauna is operated by Kangasalan Melojat ry.
