Hepoköngäs is one of the highest natural waterfalls in Finland with a drop of 24 meters.

The waterfall is most impressive in spring and early summer when the melt water makes the river swell, and its thundering noise can be heard several hundred metres away.

The waterfall is easy to access via an accessible path from the parking lot of the Hepoköngäs Nature Reserve.
