Petkeljärvi National Park and the surrounding area of the park offer excellent kayaking opportunities. From Petkeljärvi you can paddle through Nuorajärvi along the Koitajoki for about 80 km to Koitere, to the landscapes of Patvinsuo National Park. Mutalahti, which is located to the south of the national park, is about 20 km paddling away. Either by paddling in a canoe or kayak, or by paddling in a rowing boat, you get to see and experience the national park and the surrounding area from a completely different perspective
