The Punainen Tupa (red cottage) is located in the yard of the Arkkukari house, which has served as a municipal home for the elderly and was originally built as the clergy house for the chaplain, next to the Saloinen Museum.

The Tupa is now owned by the Association of Local History and Culture of Saloinen. In the summer, the cottage hosts photo exhibitions and a summer café. The museum’s exhibitions on the Middle Ages are also displayed at the Tupa.

You can also reserve the Tupa for private events or come and see the exhibitions with a group.
