Nighttime snowshoeing in Oulanka National Park in search of the Northern Lights.

When the night has set, we put on our snowshoes and head torches as we go for an evening hike in the snowy forest. In the darkness and silence, we feel the peace of the wilderness. The white glowing snow, the stars and the moon will light our way, and if we are lucky, we can also see the magical northern lights in the clear sky.

In the Basecamp area, outdoor lighting is minimal, offering a good opportunity to admire the starry sky. As there is no light pollution, the northern lights also shine brighter here in the wilderness. Our guide will be happy to give you tips on how to capture the night scenery with your camera. While observing the sky, a hot drink is served.
