The lakeside route is short and great fun, but you can make it more demanding by riding along the Pappilanniemi hiking trail. Start from the Village Hall and head towards Kurkiniemi. passing the railwaystation. Continue to the blue bridge and circle the Askel red brick building. Continue north along (to the right) a sandy lane, which leads to the beach. Along the route you will find the Haapaseläntie sandy beach as well as Pyhävedenranta play park. You may find also geocache nearby.
