The largest European conference in operations research and management science will be hosted in Otaniemi, Espoo in July 2022.

Aalto University has been selected to host the Association of European Operational Research Societies annual conference EURO2022. The event will take place in early July 2022, and will be participated by some 2500 researchers from around the world interested in operations research, management science and business analytics. It will be the largest congress ever organized in Espoo.

The conference will be organized by the Finnish Operations Research Society (FORS) in collaboration with Aalto Centre for Operations Research (ACOR), the Department of Mathematics and Systems Analysis and the Department of Information and Service Management at Aalto University. The Organizing Committee is co-chaired by professors Antti Punkka (Aalto SCI) and Juuso Liesiö (Aalto BIZ).

‘We’re very excited to get the EURO2022 conference to Finland and specifically to Otaniemi after a very tight competition. This is an excellent opportunity for Aalto to show that new Aalto campus provides world-class facilities for organizing major scientific conferences in a unique environment’ said Professor Punkka.
